The Latasha Norman Center for 咨询服务 is committed to working with 澳门皇冠体育 students experiencing certain adjustment challenges as they matriculate through their academic program and college experience.The mission of the Latasha Norman Center – 咨询服务 is to provide services and activities that can assist 澳门皇冠体育 (JSU) students as they transition and seek assistance with building their problem-solving skills, managing relationships and becoming more independent and confident as students and global citizens. The University produces technologically-advanced, 多样化的, 道德, global leaders who think critically, 解决社会问题, 有效竞争.The Latasha Norman Center for 咨询服务 is a short-term student support service. 历史

The Latasha Norman Center for Counseling and Psychological 服务 was erected in 2007. The Center’s name changed in 2012 to Latasha Norman Center for Counseling and 残疾人服务 when the disability services program and counseling program were unified in one location.  Presently the Center is the Latasha Norman Center for 咨询服务, still serving as a tribute to the student who died as a result of domestic violence, Latasha Norman who was a 20-year-old native of Greenville, MS and an accounting major at 澳门皇冠体育. She would have graduated in May 2010.
